| Vinitaly For You is back. From Thursday 8 to Sunday 11 April, Vinitaly animates the heart of Verona every evening: the splendid setting of Palazzo della Gran Guardia, in Piazza Bra, is the not-to-be-missed wine bar appointment for all wine enthusiasts. From 18.00 until midnight - glamour, live music from and especially a huge wine store - Vinitaly itself, to be precise - that once again this year will be managed in collaboration with the “Women of Wine” Association, flanked by cocktails based on Durello sparkling wine by the Lessini Durello DOC Wine Consortium. Vinitaly For You focuses on the enthusiasts and curious excluded from Vinitaly's target of professional operators and achieved huge public success with more than 3,500 visitors in 2009. A glass of wine embraces history, tradition and so much poetry: Vinitaly aims to recall those poets, writers and philosophers - from Voltaire to Stevenson, from Hesse to Apollinaire - who praised wine in their verses through quotations on Vinitaly For You glasses. And once again this year, the RAI Radio 2 Decanter programme will provide live evening coverage of Vinitaly For you. The appointment with Decanter is every evening from 19.50 to 20.55.
